Comments:

IBM 19K2002 Driver. This is a ZIP of the complete installation CD that shipped with the IBM Optical Navigator USB mouse. (The version number is taken from the front of the CD) It seems to be one of the only versions that includes 'XP' versions of the driver, although I suspect they are just W2K versions that were tweaked a bit. If you try and install on XP you will get an error that says the drivers are not 'Microsoft certified', but clicking "continue anyway' will allow you to complete the installation after the system creates a restore point.

I'd advise AGAINST using the mouse software installer on XP, since it would seem it was designed for Windows 95/98/ME/W2K. (The software is called Mouse98, and the file dates are 1999-2001 - There are a couple references to 'Whistler' in the driver, which would suggest this was created when XP was still in beta.) You are safer just plugging in the mouse and when you get the box asking for driver info, just click "specify a location" and point to the relevant directory where you extracted the files. I did that myself on a WinXP home system and the install went fine. You can change mouse options by opening control panel and selecting 'Mouse'. Installing the mouse software on XP may cause system instability and is something I don't recommended.
